Fort Kumbalgarh is an another most visited ancient place in Udaipur as the fort is built by the Prince Kumbha therefore its name from the Khumbalgarh word. Udaipur rulers built it for providing fresh water supply to the ships passing through lakes. The fort and its lighthouse is a fiftenth-century Kumbalgarh fort located on a Mewar fortress on the westerly range of Aravalli Hills, in the Rajsamand. It was constructed in 15th century by the prince Rana Kumbha. The place is also best suited for sunset view and offers one of the best photo shoot locations.
Saheliyon ki Bari located in old Udaipur is a Saheliyon-Ki-Bari or ‘garden of the maids’ in English was built by Maharana Bhopal Singh for a group of 48 young women attendants who accompanied a princess to Udaipur as part of her dowry. With its lush greenery, flowers, beautiful fountains, lotus pools, and marble artifacts and pavilions, Saheliyon-Ki-Bari. The place gives a feeling of peace. The place too has excellent facilities for tourists such as free drinking water and free parking, restrooms are also available here.
